Obituary of Lloyd R. Doyens

Rev. Dr. Lloyd Richard Doyens, age 84,of Maineville, Ohio, went Home to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Bethesda North Hospital. Born March 19, 1932, in Arnold, Michigan, Lloyd was the son of the late Jack and Margaret Doyens. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He served in the United States Air Force. Lloyd attended Moody Bible Institute, Aurora College, San Diego Bible College and Seminary, and Trinity Theological Seminary where he received his A.A.; B.A; MCE and ThD. He was manager of Berthold-Hanson Cadillac Agency in Aurora, Illinois before pastoring churches in Minnesota, Kansas and Illinois. He resided in Maineville, Ohio for the last nine years. He enjoyed growing roses, spending time on the computer and checking out automobiles. Some of his greatest joys were times spent with his children and grandchildren. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Henry and Glenn Doyens. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Virginia (Browning) Doyens of Maineville, Ohio; sons Richard (Rhonda) of Phoenix, Arizona, Gary (Jocelyn) of New Haven, Connecticut and Keith (Roberta) of Lexington, South Carolina; daughters Diane (Tsvika) Silberberg of Maineville, Ohio, Kathy (Gary) Gates of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Linda Filley of St. Paul, Minnesota; brothers Dan Doyens of Florida and Paul Doyens of Illinois, sister, Marian Beck of Massachusetts; thirteen grandchildren and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Maineville Cemetery, Maineville, Ohio.
