Obituary of Charles R. Howard

HOWARD, charles R. age 79 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born April 28, 1937 on Lost Creek, Kentucky, Charles was the son of Stanley and Dove Byrd (Fugate) Howard and was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Charles was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio and enjoyed hunting deer and turkey, fishing and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, son Charles R. (Whitey) Howard and sister Patricia Prichard; Charles leaves behind his loving children Ronald Howard of Lebanon, Ohio, Robert S. Howard of Lebanon, Ohio and Thomas R. Howard; daughter Shelley Scheming of Clarksville, Ohio; brothers William Howard of Peebles, Ohio, Stanley Howard, Jr. of Beavercreek, Ohio, Garry Howard of Lebanon, Ohio and Theodore Howard of Middletown, Ohio; sister Susan Wilson of Lebanon, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Doug Sibcy officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
