Denny and his family moved next door to us in College Hill when the triplets were about three. Justine was born while the family lived there as well. We have many good memories of Denny and saw him as a good father and husband. He also created some good fun when we visited the zoo at Christmas and the talking reindeer (Denny) talked to our daughter by name. We enjoyed Denny and his family and he is missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Thomas. I am grateful for his life and all that he shared with us. I attribute a great love of performing to his teaching and look back fondly on his acting classes. I am also thankful to have gotten to work with him at KI. Thank you for sharing such a talent with the rest of us. Praying for peace during this difficult time.

Mr. Thomas, you were the reason I became interested in Theatre & Performance. You helped me find a place to fit in during High School & supported me when other teachers did not. Your kindness & inspiration helped form me into someone I am proud to be & I wish I could have told you that in life. "Because it is a customary cross, as die to love as thoughts, & dreams, & sighs, wishes & tears, poor fancy's followers."

I'm quite certain I will not be the first or last to say that Denny was one of my favorite teachers at Sycamore. I actually looked forward to Speech class! How many people can say that? I also had the pleasure of working with him at Kings Island. He was always such a joy to be around, just an all around amazing and inspiring person. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I was a student at Mariemont High School from 1977-1981. Denny made a lasting impact on my life. I was in chorus,Breakfast Club and many productions both on stage and behind the scenes. His teaching was instrumental in helping me to literally find my voice as a performer and become a more confident young adult. The benefits I experinced through music and theater became the catalyst for my own career as a Creative Drama teacher and educator for the past 30 years. I went on to get my teacher degree and a masters in Theater. Denny was in no small way responsible for the direction of my life. His kindness and support, his smile and positivity remain with me still. I remember going out to the caretaker's house when the kids were very young and celebrating cast parties and theater events. He will live on in so many students who were touched by his teaching. May you find peace in the stories of his lasting impact.

I first met Denny during rehearsal for the Edgecliff College production of 'Heidi'. Denny was the whole deal. He could act, he could sing and dance, like no other guy I knew. I don't ever remember his face without a smile. You just couldn't help but smile yourself. His entire face lit up, I will never forget that. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hey Denny, I left a light on for you.
