Obituary of Mary S. Pennington

PENNINGTON, Mary S. (nee Couch) age 85 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, May 13, 2016. Born April 23, 1931 in Hyden, Kentucky, Mary was the daughter of John and Sophia (Morgan) Couch and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mary retired from the Avon Company in Sharonville with 21 years of service. During her spare time, Mary enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking and reading. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 54 years Dr. Wash Pennington in 2015, first husband Warren Cook, son Warren Gary Cook, brothers Floyd and John and sisters Nanny, Jessie, Polly and Rose; Mary leaves behind her children Larry Wayne (Cindy) Cook of South Lebanon, Ohio and Katherine (Doug) Motzer of Spring City, Tennessee; four grandchildren Tim Motzer, Natasha Jordan, Hannah Cook and Mary Diane Kennedy;4 great-grandchildren Tanner, James, Estelle and Samuel and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, May 17, 2016 form 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
