Obituary of Richard Aubrey Taylor

TAYLOR, Reverend Richard Aubrey age 84 of Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Tuesday, May 10, 2016 while on a missionary trip in Nairobi, Kenya. Born June 13, 1931 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Richard was the son of Aubrey Maphis and Evelyn Virginia (Hughes) Taylor and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Richard retired as a Masonry Contractor after 40 years of service and enjoyed his missionary work in Kenya. During his spare time, he enjoyed classical music and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter Dodie Taylor, Richard leaves behind his loving wife Jane Taylor of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Danielle (Dave) Schultz of Lebanon, Ohio; son David (Judy) Taylor of Virginia; brothers Robert Taylor and Glen Taylor, sisters Joy Taylor Dreas and Audrey Taylor; grandchildren Abigail, Bryan and John Schultz, Carrie Pollino and Ryan and Huner Taylor and Gayle Montgomery; great-grandchildren EMM, Hayley, Evan, Heath and Heidi and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, May 19, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 12pm at the Faith Building Church located on Covenant Way in Lebanon, Ohio.
