Obituary of Edith Mae Weber

WEBER, Edith Mae (nee Baker) age 75 of Wilmington, Ohio passed peacefully May 6, 2016 at University Hospital, Cincinnati following a brief illness. Born February 17, 1941 in Clay County, Kentucky, Edith was the daughter of Shelby and Nancy (Bishop) Baker and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Edith retired with 34 years of service from the Montgomery Inn in Cincinnati and had also worked at the Houston Inn in Mason. Edith was known for being a hard worker and during her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards and going on cruises. Preceded in death by her parents, Edith leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years Neil R. Weber of Wilmington, Ohio, sons Dean Asher of Dayton, Ohio, Chris (Jeri) Asher of Newport, Kentucky, Bobby (Melanie) Weber of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Tonya Willis of Middletown, Ohio, Pam (Jim) Moore of Liberty Township, Ohio, Karen (John) Light of Fairfield, Ohio, Madonna Nelson of Liberty township, Ohio, Paula (Jim) Hammond of Post Falls, Idaho and Susan (Jeffrey) Wertz of Jacksonville, Florida; sister Lola Ledford of South Lebanon, Ohio and Beatrice Calwell of Ft. Valley, Georgia, special niece Dessie Mabry, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friend Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5pm until 7pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7pm with Pastor Bill Lamb officiating. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Autism Society of Cincinnati, P.O.
