Obituary of Ray E. McElroy

McElroy, Ray E. age 75 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born May 27, 1940 in Westerville, Ohio, Ray was the son of Dayton and Mildred (Johnson) McElroy and was a loving father, grandfather , brother and friend to all who knew him. Ray attended school in the Goshen and Little Miami School Districts and owned his own construction company for many years. During his spare time, Ray enjoyed fishing and hotrod custom cars. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Roy and Jerry McElroy; Ray leaves behind his loving children Jackie Lee (Kim) McElroy, Joseph Lewis McElroy and Jennifer Harris all of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Charles and Jim McElroy, sister Linda Stewart of Lebanon, Ohio; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Morrow Baptist Church with Brother John Holbrook officiating.
