Obituary of Mable Hardy

HARDY, Mable (nee Gabbard) age 89 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday evening, May 8, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio with her family by her side. Born November 19, 1922 in Owsley County, Kentucky, Mable was the daughter of Alford and Maude (Strong) Gabbard and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mable was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio and enjoyed gardening, canning and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvin Hardy and son Dale Hardy; Mable leaves behind her son James "Donnie" (Denise) Hardy of Clarksville, Ohio; daughters Barbara (Willie) Morgan of Maineville, Ohio and Linda (Randy) Steele of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Michelle (Derek) Wasson, Crystal (Nathan) Kaiser, Melissa (Jake) Larrick, Elizabeth Hardy, Rebecca Hardy, James Hardy and Samantha Hardy; great-grandchildren Brent Larrick, Kyann and Dakota Wasson; seven great-great grandchildren and two great-great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Friday evening, May 11, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
