Obituary of Albert Heizer

HEIZER, Albert Jr. "Junior" of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully at home Tuesday, March 22, 2016 with his family by his side. Born January 28, 1933 in Denniston,Kentucky, Albert was the son of Albert and Gertrude Heizer and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Albert was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and had retired from the Lebanon City School System. During his spare time, Albert enjoyed woodworking, carving animals and gardening. Albert was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Lebanon. Preceded in death by his parents, infant son Ritchie Heizer in 1962, brothers Fred, Jesse and Everett and sisters Vivian and Hazel; Albert leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years De Etta (nee Allen) Heizer of Lebanon, Ohio; son Jeffrey (Jana) Heizer of Hamilton, Ohio, daughters Melissa (Mark) Creekmore of Lebanon, Ohio and Melinda (Darrell) Dixon of Ruskin, Florida; brothers Robert (Janet) Heizer of Franklin, Ohio and Zollie Heizer of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren Lauren, Matthew, Travis, Gregory, Shannon, Leslie and Caitlin; great grandchildren Jaycee, Corbin, Peyton and Bella and many other family members and friends. the family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2016 from 10am until 12pm at the Fellowship Baptist Church located at1634 Shattuck Road in Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be he;d at the church at 12pm with Pastor Bill Burrows officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the American Cancer Society.
