Obituary of Rocky Sammy Sandlin

SANDLIN, Rocky Sammy age 55 of Marietta, Ohio and formerly of South Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Saturday, march 12, 2016 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio with his family by his side. Born April 24, 1960 in Middletown, Ohio, Rocky was the son of Daniel R. and Ethel (Gabbard) Sandlin and was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Preceded in death by his parents and wife Edith Sandlin, Rocky leaves behind his loving children Gary Joseph Sandlin, Robert E. Coffman, Britani Merritt, Nicole Reynolds, Natasha Sandlin, Shelby Sandlin and Rose Sandlin; brothers Jerry Sandlin and Robert Sandlin; sisters Sandra Wallace, Patty Comley, Tonya Hensley and Lisia Sandlin; thirteen grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Calling hours Friday, March 18, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1pm with Pastor Dave Frasure officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.The family appreciates memorial donations that are sent directly to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
