Obituary of Donald Eugene McElroy

McELROY, Donald Eugene age 60 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Atrium Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born July 23, 1955 in Wilmington, Ohio, Donald was the son of Roy Eugene and Rose Marie (Whitaker) McElroy and was a loving and devoted father grandfather, son and brother. Donald enjoyed fishing, hiking, being outdoors and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Sharon Shipman; Donald leaves behind his loving children Danny (Charlotte) McElroy of Springboro, Ohio, Richard Herlinger of Mason, Ohio, April McElroy of Mason, Ohio and Amber Heareth of Middletown, Ohio; brother Gary McElroy of Morrow, Ohio, sisters JoAnn Ditchen of Milford, Ohio, Lisa Ellis of Morrow, Ohio, Janelle Hadley of Loveland, Ohio; three grandchildren and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, March 7,2016 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
