I just want to express my heartfelt sympathies to Mike and Nancy as a result of the death of their father, Emmitt Perin. Emmitt Perin was a kind, warm and gentle man and I will always remember him as our Cubmaster growing as kids in Kings Mills and Dorothy, his wife, as our Den Mother. I am not sure how the two of them kept Mike, Danny Reed, Sam Johnson, myself and a few others that I can't remember any more from destroying their house during Cub meetings. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To my loving father, I'm so proud to have called you dad. You are now with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, he has welcomed you with welcome arms. You are also now with mom and your loving sister Aunt Jessie and other family members. I'm so sorry that I couldn't be here for your final days, but with the miles between us made it hard, which I know you understood . I'm glad Mike was with you. As I sit this morning in your chair in the living room, it's hard for me to hold back my tears. Ken was proud to have called you dad, and a father in law,. You will be in my heart always and forever.. I wishing could had told you that I "Love you", but I'm sure you know that. I want to let you know that we will be celebrating your life this coming Saturday with family and friends, sharing all of the good times and all of our memories. I miss something terrible and so does Mike. Til we meet up in heaven.

Uncle Emmitt... you lived a long life. Your children are your legacy... what a great legacy you leave. Mom(Jessie) loved you so very much. Now you are reunited with her and your other loved ones.

I am so sorry Nancy and Mike for the loss of your Dad. I knew Emmitt and Dorothy for many years and went to the same church with Emmitt for many years.
