Obituary of John N. McBride

McBRIDE, John N. age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday evening, February 22, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born October 13, 1934 in Morrison, Tennessee, John was the son John and Elizabeth (Turner) McBride and was a retired Roadway Maintenance Supervisor with the Village of Indian Hill retiring in 1990. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather who had a great love of horses, soccer and baseball. Growing up, John was offered the opportunity to try out for the minor league baseball. Preceded in death by his parents, John leaves behind his loving wife Pamela (Simpkins) McBride of Lebanon, Ohio; son Douglas L. (Denise) Smith of Blanchester, Ohio and daughter Vicky (David) Yingling of Homosassa, Florida; grandchildren Douglas and Lindsay Smith and Dylan Smith all of Blanchester, Ohio and great-grandchildren Corbin and Gracelyn Smith. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 10am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12pm with Pastor Lester Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
