Obituary of Ralph James George

Ralph James George, of Hillsboro, OH passed away February 15th, at the age of 82. He was born in Lebanon, OH September 27, 1933, the youngest child of Homer C. and Blanche M. (Enloe) George. From 1955-1958 he served as an Army communication’s clerk, in Germany, during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver of 33 years, who owned and operated his own business R.J. George Trucking, Hillsboro, OH, hauling steal throughout Ohio. A member of Northside Baptist Church and Urban Crest Baptist Church of Lebanon, OH, and a Member of Bible Baptist Church, Hillsboro, OH during his retirement. He leaves behind his wife Delores Faye (Becknell) George, of 53 years. His brother Robert “Bob” George of Lebanon, OH and sisters Roberta Hilderbrant of Lebanon, OH and Ruth Pierce of Lebanon, OH; seven children and their spouses, Robert and Bitha George of Maineville, OH; Brenda Goodlett of Trenton, OH; Toni and Steve Allen of Trenton, OH; Donna George of Portsmouth, OH; Beverly George of Mason, OH; Connie George of South Lebanon, OH; Stephanie and Dane Kissel of Lebanon, OH; James George of Lebanon, OH; seventeen Grandchildren and sixteen Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brother Harold George, Sister Lucille Daubenmire King, and Great Grandchild Emmey Maye George. Visitation will take place from 10:00am-12:00pm and funeral service at 12:00pm at Stine and Kilburn Funeral home on Saturday, February 21, 2016. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Lebanon Cemetery immediately following.
