Obituary of Josephine Rice

RICE, Josephine (nee Baker) age 73 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday morning, February 11, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital with her family by her side. Born October 17, 1942 in Brookville, Indiana, Josephine was the daughter of Forest Dale and Oda (Allen) Baker and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Josephine enjoyed yard sales, shopping, cooking and gardening. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Stanley Rice in January 2016 and brothers Herbert and Manford Baker, Josephine leaves behind her loving children Dewey (Carla) Gambrel of Lebanon, Ohio, Jimmy Dale (Tina) Gambrel of Franklin, Ohio, Odie Gambrel of South Lebanon, Ohio, Julie Ann Gambrel of South Lebanon, Ohio, Lucy (Scott) Gambrel of Manville, Ohio, Stanley (Jeri) Rice, Jr. of Texas, Cliff (Cheri) Rice of Texas, Tony Rice of Texas, David Rice of Texas and Patty Rice of Texas; brothers Farley and Hobart Baker of Morrow, Ohio, Valgene Baker of Kentucky and Randall Baker; nineteen Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday evening, February 15, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1pm with Pastor Earl Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
