Obituary of Rosanna Marie Halcomb

HALCOMB, Rosanna Marie (nee Casolari) age 92 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully February 3, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born April 6, 1923 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, Rosanna was the daughter of Michael and Anna Mae (Ray) Casolari and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Rosanna was a graduate of Lynch High School in Kentucky and enjoyed cooking, canning, vegetable gardening, singing with her husband and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Angelo Halcomb, brothers Angelo, Lawrence Mitchell and Joseph Casolari and sisters Enis Pochardo, Amelia Creech, Mary May Malkovich, Joan Bird and Catherine Ford; Rosanna leaves behind her loving husband of 72 years Howard Mitchell Halcomb of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Brenda (Larry) Martin of Georgetown, Kentucky, Doris (Robert) Shepherd of South Lebanon, Ohio, Thelma (Jasper) Shepherd of South Lebanon, Ohio and Gwen (Jim) Houston of Loveland, Ohio; brother James (Saundra) Casolari; sisters Celestine Maggard, Rachel (Don) Parker and Cecelia (Charlie) Caudill; grandchildren Bobby (Jenny) Shepherd, Erica (Brice) Nichols, Brandon (Cheryl) Houston, Joey Shepherd, Nick Shepherd and Ryan (Dannie) Houston; great grandchildren Keisha, Delaney, Ahli, Logan and Ellie and great-great grandchild Keller and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Mike Cornett officiating. burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
