Obituary of Sandra Whitson

WHITSON, Sandra (Hess) Riley age 69 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, January 8, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born August 15, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sandra was the daughter of Estill Merrill and Mary (Speaks) Hess and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church in South Lebanon, a 1964 graduate of Kings High School and had worked for Deluxe Custom Printer and kings Local Schools. Preceded in death by her parents, son Deron Riley and sister Mary Loy Perry; Sandra leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years Howard Whitson of South Lebanon, Ohio; sons Duane (Debbie) Riley of Maineville, Ohio, Keith Whitson of Lockland, Ohio and Steve Whitson of Maderia; daughter Kelly Whitson of Reading , Ohio; sisters JoAnne Proffitt of Clarksville, Ohio and Bonnie Hess of West Palm, Florida; grandchildren Tony, Justin, Kayla and Erin Riley and great granddaughter Harper Marie Riley. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 12pm until 2pm t the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at the church at 2pm with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio. Preferred memorial donations may be directed to U-Turn Ministries, Hospice of Cincinnati or the First Baptist Church, South Lebanon.
