Obituary of Betty Lou Short

SHORT, Betty Lou (nee Kilburn) age 82 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday evening, December 14, 2015 at her residence. Born February 23, 1933 in Lebanon, Ohio, Betty was the daughter of the late Ruth (McMullen) and Floyd Kilburn. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marcus Wendell Short, brother Robert Kilburn and sisters Barbara Doughman and Charlene Kilburn. Betty is survived by her daughter Charmayne (Harold) Sharp of Florida, sons Marcus (Laura) Short of Loveland and Keith (Tabitha) Short of Blanchester; grandsons Heath Culberson, Ethan Short and Devin Short; great granddaughter Kaden J. Culbertson; twin sister Bonnie Blanton of Pleasant Plain and Jean Coogan of Blanchester and Sandy Spears of Tennessee; longtime friend Henry Saylor of Lebanon, Ohio and many other family members and friends. A funeral service to honor her life will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 11am until 1pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice Blue Ash.
