Obituary of Beatrice P. Calvert

CALVERT, Beatrice P. age 96 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Avalon of Mainevile with her family by her side. Born January 21, 1919 in Elliott County, Kentucky, Beatrice was the daughter of Hoad and Rose (Burton) Rice and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Beatrice attended Elliott County schools, Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, Berea College in Berea, Kentucky and Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. Beatrice taught school grades 1 - 7 Elementary Holly Grove, Kentucky and 4th grade in South Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Asa Calvert and children James A. Calvert and Patty Sue Calvert Ingram; Beatrice leaves behind her loving children William T. Calvert and Charles E. Calvert; four brothers, three sisters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, December 3, 2015 from 6pm until 7:30pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:30pm with Reverend Orville Robinson officiating. An additional visitation will be held Friday, December 4, 2015 from 12pm until 1:30pm at the Lane Stucky andGray Funeral Home in Morehead, Kentucky. Funeral services in Kentucky will be held at 1:30pm at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home at 1:30pm with Pastor Glenda Pettit officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Morehead, Kentucky.
