I'm truly sorry to hear of Edna's passing. She was a wonderful lady. My mother Dorothy Perin did house cleaning for Edna at one time. My mother and father Emmitt & Dorothy Perin lived on Oak Street in Kings Mils, Edna lived on the corner of Oak and Kings Mills Road and my parents lived in the middle of the block. On behalf of my father Emmitt Perin, my brother Michael and myself sending our deepest Condolence's to the family. I'm Emmitt's daughter.Tt

I also knew Edna all of my life because my mother was from Kings Mills as was her family. Although my family were service people and traveled the globe, we always returned to Kings Mills. When my wonderful Aunt Bobo died, it was such a sad time, but with Edna around lifting our spirits and relating lots of wonderful memories, it helped ease the pain: she and Patsy Cline "Bobo" were friends all of their lives. Edna will be missed but the memories will remain.

Yes she was a wonderful person and a lovely lady. We worked together at the Warren County Office building for many years.
I laugh when I see these political signs that say "Conservative".
Edna Bowyer wrote the book on "Conservative".
Edna's employees were issued "A" pencil. Yes that means one. If they ask for another, the original one better be less than 2 inches in length.
Edna worked hard and was successful in getting a Federal Grant to Computerize the Recorders office. It became a model for all of Ohio.

I was blessed to know Miss Edna all my life - from the day I was born to the day she passed on for greener pastures. She was a major influence on me in so many ways. From the first time I went fly fishing with her to the last time I drove her to Gatlinburg, TN to spend time with my mother and other lady friends in the Great Smokey Mtns. She was always so much fun to know and be around. I was always impressed with what great care she gave to her mother during her long illness and saddened knowing she would not have such a daughter to do the same for her. So glad she had Beth and Linda. While she will be sorely missed, I know that heaven is a lot better off than it was.

We are so sorry to learn of Edna's passing; but, the news brings back many pleasant memories of working with, and just knowing this fine lady. As the long-time County Recorder, she will be fondly remembered and respected by many people of Warren County.
(And, thank you Lynda and Beth.)
