Obituary of Edward Raymond Singleton

SINGLETON, Edward Raymond "Ray" age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his residence. Born September 2, 1934 in Clay County, Kentucky, Ray was the son of John D. and Mandy Singleton and was a loving and devoted husband father and grandfather. Ray served his country proudly during the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Borden Chemical where he was a dye maker. During his spare time, Ray enjoyed fishing, baseball (Atlanta Braves) and football. Preceded in death by his parents; Ray leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years Dorothy (nee Shackleford) Singleton of Lebanon; daughters Sherry Wolfe, Yvonne Krogman, Vivian Brose and Vickie Biggs; brothers Lester Singleton, Sterling (Billie) Singleton and Mitchell (Glenda) Singleton; sister Della; grandchildren Charlie Biggs and Gina McKeehan; great-grandchildren Andrea and Peyton Biggs and Avery McKeehan. The family will receive friends Monday, November 30, 2015 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. funeral services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Sibcy officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
