I share, with my sisters, all the fond memories of the gatherings at the Henry's. the one that sticks out the most was "Rudy" Auntie Peg had warned me not to chase Rudy. Nothin' doin' I would, and then when I turned my back, he would nail me; on the back of my leg or butt. I will always remember "My Auntie Peg"

Like Nita, I remember the Easter Egg hunts and all the fond memories of sitting around and listening to the cackling of all the Aunties when they would get together. Although us cousins had better things to do than sit around and listen to the gossiping of the hens. Always plenty of things to get into at Auntie Peg's place. Sure had some fun times. To Ronnie,Dick,Barbara and Kathy: You will always have your memories. It is so hard at first but it does get easier. She was a good ole sole and would have given the shirt off her back and she probably did a few times! I love and miss her with all my heart as I know you will. Hang in there and show that you are made of that Rich stock as Mom would always say. All my hugs and kisses are being sent your way. Just imagine when the gates of Heaven opened up for her to enter, who was there to greet her! Her siblings, Mark, Aunt Eleanor and all the ones who went before her. I can just imagine what she said: Well I'll be damn! Can't you just hear them all? Hallelujah what a day we have to look forward to. I'm here if you need me. Love and prayers to you all. I always think of Auntie Peg at Easter....we used to go to Auntie Peg's and Uncle Bob's for an Easter egg hunt...all of the cousins would run around looking for the goose eggs with the half dollar taped to them.......then we would have Auntie Peg's "yellow" chicken and noodles..no one could make noodles like Auntie Peg! The memories of all the "Aunties" sitting around talking and laughing so hard their faces would turn beet red I will never forget. You can say alot about our family but one thing is for sure, we knew how to have a good time and laugh and I think that's a good legacy to leave your kids and grandkids....I miss all of them so much. Barb,Ronnie, Dick , Kathy...it will get easier . Every day I feel Mom with me and I know you will too, they all have such strong spirits and personalities that it's impossible not to feel them. To My Cousins,
All my thoughts and prayer are with you during this very painful time. Aunt Peg was a wonderful lady and a very special part of our family. I remember when we were kids and she would say (those blasted youngins). I will always remember and cherish that.

So sorry to hear of the death of your mom. She was a special lady. I know you will miss her greatly. It is hard to get over the loss of your mother. We loss mom in May last year. I miss her so much. Granny Henry will always have a special place in my heart. At this moment I can still hear that contagious laugh, that as a child, made me laugh even more, especially when we were watching the Dukes of Hazzard! I am not sure if I enjoyed the show as much as I enjoyed watching her watch and laugh with every silly happening. Too many memories to share, but one that will always stick in my memory! She loved a lot and is loved back just as much! Thanks for allowing me to share in her life!
