Obituary of Herbert Baker

BAKER, Herbert age 61 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Saturday morning, September 5, 2015 at his residence. Born May 1, 1954 in Lebanon, Ohio, Herb was the son of Forrest Dale and Oda Baker and was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. Herb was a life long resident of Warren County and attended Kings High School. Herb had a passion for fishing and deer hunting and was an avid knife collector. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Manford Baker; Herb leaves behind his son James Baker of Milford, Ohio; brothers Hobart Baker of Morrow, Ohio, Farley Baker of Morrow, Ohio, Vajean Baker of Booneville, Kentucky and Randall Baker of Georgetown, Ohio; sister Josephine Rice of South Lebanon, Ohio and many other family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 12pm until 2pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral; home at 2pm with burial to follow in the Deefield Cemetery, South Lebanon. The family has requested that memorial donations be directed to the Herbert Baker Fund, c/o Stine Kilburn Funeral Home, 801 Monroe Road, Lebanon, Ohio 45036 to assist with funeral expenses.
