Obituary of Reba F. Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Reba F. (nee Clasby) age 83 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Hillspring Nursing Center in Springboro, Ohio. born March 20, 1932 in Appalachia, Virginia, Reba was the daughter of Ray and Ora (McNutt) Clasby and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Reba was a longtime resident of Lebanon, Ohio. Many may remember Reba from her years of employment with Frisch's in Lebanon, Rozzi's Fireworks and the Fred's Mushroom Plant. Reba enjoyed collecting angels, quilting, crocheting and spending time with her family. Reba was also a longtime craft vendor with the Country Applefest in Lebanon. Preceded in death by her parents, husband James E. Shepherd, son Vincent Shepherd, brothers Sam, Edward and Thomas Clasby and sisters Bobbi Jean and Christina; Reba leaves behind her loving children James Shepherd, Jr. of Centerville, Indiana; Brenda Manuel of Lebanon, Ohio and Pat (Alan) Kirk of Clarksville, Ohio; brothers Eddie Clasby of Colorado and Larry Clasby of Indiana; grandchildren Christina, Christopher, James, Adam, Angel, Nicholas and Jessica; great grandchildren Courtney, Hayden, Kyle, Savannah, Blake, Brysen, Beckett, Brianna and Kinsley and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Jack Schuler officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
