Obituary of Kenneth Vincent Moran

MORAN, Kenneth Vincent age 59 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Loveland, Ohio passed unexpectedly Saturday, August 1, 2015. Born May 12, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, Kenneth was the son of James and Florence (Pacholczak) Moran and was a loving father and brother. Kenneth attended Gordon Tech in Chicago and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Ken had a tremendous career at Johnson and Johnson earning multiple patents that would be later used in countless surgeries helping save lives. Ken was very active in the Scouts community serving as a Den Leader for over 5 years and “helping” win a couple Pine Wood Derby Championships. He supported the Loveland Athletics Department through all his boys’ high school careers and made lifelong friends throughout the process. Above all he cherished the time spent with his three boys, whether it was watching the latest action movie, cheering on “DA Bears”, or tossing the ball in the back yard. His spirit will live on forever in the lives of the people he had touched, gone but never forgotten. Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth leaves behind his loving sons Matt Moran of Columbus, Ohio, David Moran of Maineville, Ohio and Joe Moran of Maineville, Ohio; sister Patricia (Glenn) Gabriel of Mundelein, Illinois and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 6pm until 9pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 12pm at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery.
