Obituary of Sophia Gilbert

GILBERT, Sophia (nee McIntosh) age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center. Born August 4, 1937 in Booneville, Kentucky, Sophia was the daughter of Jack and Dema (Gilbert) McIntosh and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers Herbert and Herman McIntosh; Sophia leaves behind her loving children Phillip (Becky) Gilbert of Lebanon, Ohio, Ike Gilbert of Argentina, Tina Lee of Sharonville, Ohio and Thomisa (Gary) Murphy of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Jim (Joanie) McIntosh of Tennessee; sisters Elvie Hudepohl of Kentucky and Chaney of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren Austin, Jonathan, Ethan, Jacob and Amelia and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Bill Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
