Obituary of Benjamin Harrison Eaton

EATON, Benjamin Harrison age 86 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born August 27, 1928 in Gray, Kentucky, Benjamin was the son of Bert and Opal (Jones) Eaton and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Benjamin had been a resident of Lebanon since 1964, was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and had worked for the General Motors Company and Frigidaire. Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin leaves behind his loving wife Virginia W. (Dean) Eaton of Lebanon, Ohio; son Michael (Janet) Eaton of Wilmore, Kentucky; daughter Brenda (Sparky) Sardina of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren Bryan Thomas Eaton and Bradley Scott (Melissa) Eaton all of Frankfort, Kentucky, Jamison Dehner and David Christopher Eaton both of Lexington, Ky and Heath Strawser of Columbus, Ohio; grand daughters Katherine (Adam) Cooper of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sarah (Grant) McCall of New Orleans, La., Rebecca (James) Creech of Chicago, Illinois and Terri Vaughn of Waynesville, Ohio; great-grandchildren Aaron Christopher Eaton, Gracie Eaton, Daniel Morning, Victoria Walters, Sean Vaughn, Austin Vaughn and Justin Vaughn. Friends may call on the family Monday, July 27, 2015 from 5pm until 7pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7pm with Pastor Richard Ross officiating. Burial will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 1pm at the Cox Cemetery, Gray, Kentucky.
