Oh Kristie...... My heart breaks and tears flow that you are no longer with us. I have never known anyone as strong as you to battle the Beast (cancer)! I know you are happy and healthy and so loved in Heaven! Please give my Al all my love. To all the dear ones left behind...sorrow and sympathy shared with you from the bottom of my heart. To the Boyd/Kern Family, my deepest sympathies to you all. The loss of Kristie is a profound loss to anyone that knew her. Her giving spirit and love of life outweighed any suffering she endured. She fought this horribe disease harder than anyone I've ever meet. But more importantly, she LIVED her life through it all - she didn't let it define who she was as a person. There are many life lessons to be learned from Kristie's legacy that she leaves behind. She never quit - even in the end, she made it clear she wouldn't stop fighting. The short 3 years that we were friends, we spent a lot time doing fun things with our kids - never letting any chemo or pain get in the way of making sure to create everlasting memories with AJ, Adam and Andrew.
