Obituary of Calvin A. Pottorf, Jr.

Calvin Andrew Pottorf Jr. Ag 25 passed peacefully at his home Wed. 27, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones after a hard fought battle with cancer.Calvin was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Miami University in Middletown. He leaves behind his loving and devoted parents, Michelle (Bates) Fullerton and Calvin Pottorf Sr., his step parents Greg and Marianne, his soul mate and the love of his life Becca York, their loving and loyal dog Albert that they had together, and his lifelong best friends Nick Rhoden and Jordan Epperson, his aunt Lora Bishop, and uncle Bill Pottorf, many cousins along with many friends, fellow gamers and debaters from across the globe. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Norma and his grandmother Judy (bubby) who passed just hours before him. Calvin (Andrew) had a brilliant mind, thirst for life and love of all things debatable. He loved a good debate. He faced this terrible disease with humor, strength, determination and courage. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all his loved ones. He was worried he hadn’t changed the world but he changed the worlds of everyone he knew. There will be a memorial reception Sunday May 31st from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home in Lebanon, Ohio. Following that there will be a celebration of life at Armco Park on St Rt 741 in Lebanon as well.
