Obituary of Teresa Wendling

WENDLING, Teresa Clare age 63 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, October 13, 2011. Born February 14, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, Teresa was the daughter of Albert C. and Bernadette (Ahlers) Schmid and was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, advocate and tutor in the community. Teresa was a member of the Life Tabernacle and a devoted follower of Christ. Teresa graduated from St. Joseph Commercial High School as Valedictorian and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Dayton. Preceded in death by sisters Margaret Mary Hjelmeland and Ruth Andrews, Teresa leaves behind her five children Timothy Lon (Cindy) Wendling of Seymour, Tennessee, Lisa (Andrew) Wendling Huntoon of Alexandria, Virginia, Christina Marie (Greg) Brown of Dayton, Ohio, Renee Suzanne Branch of Dayton, Ohio and Colette Lynn (Simon) Shakespeare of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers Robert and Tom Schmid both of Ohio, sister Mary Wiggenhorn of Ohio, Virginia Becker of Illinois and Martha Fischer of California and grandchildren Bryce Huntoon, Joel Wendling, Hannah Wendling and Sarah Wendling.. Friends may call on the family Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Teresa C.
