Obituary of Darren Keith Richardson

RICHARDSON, Darren Keith age 48 of Indianapolis, Indiana and formerly of Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Friday, May 1, 2015 while in Florence, Kentucky. Born January 3, 1967 in Lebanon, Ohio, Darren was the son of Ova and Marjorie (Mosley) Richardson and was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Darren was a 1985 graduate of Lebanon High School and later played baseball in the minor leagues for St. Louis,the Astros and Indianapolis. Many will remember Darren from his careers at Mike Castrucci Auto Sales and Rain Soft. Preceded in death by his father and brother David Richardson, Darren leaves behind his loving wife Elaine (Lewis) Richardson of Indianapolis, Indiana, sons Chad Richardson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kolton Richardson, Zade Richardson and Derek Leasure all of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters Autumn (Justin) Cottrell of Louisville, Kentucky and Kara Simons of Indianapolis, Indiana; mother Marjorie Richardson of Toledo, Ohio; brother Jason Richardson, sisters Kim Richardson and Diana Richardson-Craft of Toledo, Ohio; granddaughter Olivia Leasure and any other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening May 6, 2015 from 6pm until 7:30pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:30pm with Jason Richardson officiating. Burial will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio. The family has requested memorial donations that are directed to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
