Obituary of Dexter Malicote

MALICOTE, Dexter age 68 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, April 30, 2015 at this residence surrounded by his loving family. Born July 17, 1946 in Sand Gap, Kentucky, Dexter was the son of Charles and Alonie (Clemmons) Malicote and was a retired truck driver with Loveland Pet. Dexter enjoyed Corvettes, hot rods and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandchild; Dexter leaves behind his loving wife Debbie (Brewer) Malicote of Morrow, Ohio; son Gary (Hope) Peace of Morrow, Ohio; daughters Paula (Keith) Severns of Bucyrus, Ohio, Holly (Ken) Knox of Columbus, Ohio and Maggi (Greg) Maple of Batesville, Indiana; brothers James (Shirley) Malicote of Mt. Holly, Ohio, Junior (Darlene) Malicote of Manville, Ohio, Claude (Sharon) Malicote of Manville, Ohio and Stanley Malicote of Waynesville, Ohio; sisters Vedas (Noah) Lamb of Middletown, Ohio, Carol (Dale) Wright of Morrow, Ohio and Gail (Don) Baldwin of Waynesville, Ohio; grandchildren Brandy, Brittany, Courtney, Jordan, Samantha, Hailey, Gabriel and John and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 11am until 1pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1pm with Reverend Arthur McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
