Obituary of Miriam Esther Kaetzel

KAETZEL, Miriam age 97 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Otterbein Retirement Community just outside of Lebanon, Ohio. Born March 11, 1918 in Clarington, Ohio, Miriam was the daughter of Samuel and Agnes (Schierbaum) Kaetzel was was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. Miriam earned her Bachelors Degree at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and then her Masters Degree at Western Reserve University. Miriam taught home economics at Cleveland Heights High School, was a volunteer at the Cincinnati Art Institute Visitor Aid Service for 11 years and was a member of the Otterbein Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother Samuel Kaetzel; Miriam leaves behind her loving sister Esther Treadler of Erie, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. Private services have been planned by the family.
