Obituary of William J. Koch
Koch, William John, 5.30.1928-3.30.2015, died as he lived, "unashamed of the
gospel of Christ." The Koch family moved to Lebanon in 1945 and Bill
graduated from LHS in 1946. He served in the USAF during the Korean
conflict. He made a living for his family as a salesman. He made a life by
"doing the work of an evangelist" as he told the story again and again of
Jesus and his love for all of us! He is preceded in death by his parents,
Wm. and Pauline Koch, granddaughters Victoria and Tiffany Koch and sister JoAnn Rainey(William), he is survived by:
brother, Gary (Jeannine) Koch, his wife of 65 years, Lois Jean Koch(Reif), sons: Wm. H.
Koch(Pamela), Tim Koch(Kathy), Christopher Koch(Marlene), daughters: Karen
Reed(David), Cynthia Ponchot, 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, April 3, from 5-7 at Countryside Community Church
in Lebanon with the service at 7pm. Pastor David Schooler and Gary Koch
will be officiating. Burial will be Saturday, April 4, at 10am in the
Lebanon Cemetery.
