Obituary of Loretta Revere Mills

MILLS, Loretta Revere (nee Hamilton) age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday evening, March 19, 2015 at the Atrium Medical Center surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born July 10, 1933 in Wilmington, Ohio, Loretta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a faithful member of the Bethel AME Church in Lebanon, Ohio. Loretta was a Wilmington High School graduate and resided in Lebanon since her marriage to her soul mate James R. Mills in 1952. Loretta was active in her community and served as a stewardess at the Bethel AME Church and Chaplain at the Ralph P. Snook American Legion Post 186, Loretta retired from the Ohio Driver's License Exam Station where she served as clerk. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband James R. Mills in 2013, six brothers and one sister; Loretta leaves behind her loving children Jay R. Mills of Lebanon, Ohio; Waverly R. Wagner of Dayton, Ohio and Tracie R. Mills of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Cleo (Elsie) Hamilton of Milford, Ohio; sister LeGene Cordell of Wilmington, Ohio; sister-in-law Alice E. Clanton (Randolph) of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughters Christina and Charaya Wagner and two great-grandchildren Daphne Mariah and D.J. and many other family members and friends. A celebration of Loretta's life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 with calling hour from 3pm until 4pm with memorial service at 4pm and reception to follow all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Atrium Medical Center for their loving and compassionate care they gave Loretta and family during this most difficult time.
