Obituary of Edna Jordan

JORDAN, Edna Mae (nee Hinkle) age 87 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, February 24, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Born June 3, 1924 in Barberville, Kentucky, Edna was the daughter of James L. and Mary Ellen Hinkle and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Edna had worked for Kenner Products in Oakley. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Beve Jordan in 2005, brothers Lester, Linville, Challis, sister Chelsie Deaton, son-in-law Allen Sears and great granddaughter Madison Jewell Bangle; Edna leaves behind her son Ronald (Cathy) Jordan of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Nadine (Bryan) Shockey of Morrow, Ohio and Rita Sears of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers Dallas, ODell, and Delmer Hinkle; sisters Evelyn Vest, Lizzy Kirby and Kathleen Haas; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. Friends may call on the family Friday evening, March 2, 2012 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Eugene Durham and Pastor Charlie Applegate officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
