Obituary of Radie Bishop

BISHOP, Radie (nee Hacker) age 87 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, September 3, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Born October 13, 1923 in Seth, Kentucky, Radie was the daughter of Bart and Eva Mae (Taylor) Bishop and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Radie was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of South Lebanon, Ohio and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, husband of 47 years Willie Bishop in 1994, son Larry Bishop, daughter-in-law Annalisa Bishop, grandson David Crabtree, brother Clemon Hacker, sisters Gilda Wright, Juanita Barrett, Martha Frost and Mamie and Kathleen Hacker; Radie leaves behind her loving and devoted daughter Sharon Abney of Morrow, Ohio, brother Franklin (Virginia) Hacker of Booneville, Kentucky; grand daughters Sherry Crabtree, Deanna Bishop, Jennifer (Mark) Sweitzer, great-grandsons Christopher Crabtree and Connor Lee Sweitzer and many other family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening, September 6, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:00am at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, South Lebanon, Ohio with burial to follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
