Obituary of Alice Fairchild

FAIRCHILD, Alice Jean (nee Bunner) age 80 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Lebanon Country Manor with her family by her side. Born February 23, 1931 in Lebanon, Ohio, Alice was the daughter of Harley and Ethel (Enghauser) Bunner and loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Alice was a Lebanon High School graduate and a retired telephone operator with United Telephone Company/Sprint in Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Amos Ray Fairchild and daughter Krista Fairchild-Swain, Alice leaves behind her sons Steve (Gina) Fairchild and Dan (Judy) Fairchild and son-in-law Ed Swain all of Lebanon, Ohio; sister Shirley (George) Roska of Florida; grandchildren Kevin, Dustin, Denny (Rachel) and Joel Fairchild and Shannon (Randy) Elbert; four great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Friday, August 12, 2011 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with burial to follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville, Ohio.
