Obituary of Edna Griffith

GRIFFITH, Edna Louise (nee Adams) age 81 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born April 17, 1930 in Cynthiana, Kentucky, Edna was the daughter of Brown L. and Parrot (Thompson) Adams and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Edna retired from Durkee Foods in Sharonville with 20 years of service and enjoyed flower gardening. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Otis Griffith in 1994, brothers William McKinley Adams and Donald Ray Adams and sisters Maxie and Mary Herald; Edna leaves behind her loving children son Gary Griffith of Loveland, Ohio; daughters Patricia Owens of Galloway, Ohio, Debra Wallace of Lebanon, Ohio, Pamela Abrams of Amelia, Ohio, Beverly Hursong of South Lebanon, Ohio and Brenda Burkhardt of Middletown, Ohio; one sister Thelma Jones of Ft. Myers, Florida; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Monday evening, August 8, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Union Township.
