We will both miss Teatle sooo much. He was my "pew" partner at church. I will miss his toots as he drove by the house and miss waving to him as he sat on his porch when we went to get ice cream on the corner. I loved his laugh and will miss his hug every Sunday. I never saw him laugh so hard as he did when I told him the "Cleveland" story!! We will cherish his memory forever. Love, Lesley and Chris

No words can explain the loss so many will feel from Teatles passing. I have known Teatle most all my life. First from the gas station and his friendship with my brothers and then as a regular customer in our restaurant. Mom would always make sure she took care of Teatles order before anyone else. He meant so much to her and after the restaurant closed he went to Moms for breakfast and dinner a few times just for old time sake. Teatle was the first person to ever buy me flowers. I was having a really bad day one day and he sit me down and told me that the only person I had to please was myself and it didn't matter what anyone else thought. He had a way of saying just the right thing to make everything ok. Later that day I received the prettiest bouquet of flowers I had ever seen. He was such a wonderful person and will be missed by so many. May God be with your family as you go thru this very difficult time.

It was 1965 at Frisch's in Lebanon with my Mom, getting ready to leave, rolled down the window to sit a coke on the window tray, it slid off and went all over the shiny little red 1963 Corvette sitting beside us, Wow! I was scared to look at the guy, but, when I did he looked back at me and said that's ok it will wash off, and by the way,didn't we use to eat Fried Chicken Together, he followed me home, and boom! the rest is history , we dated one year, married had two wonderful beautiful children, we grew apart, divorced, alot of harsh unkind words were said by us about each other, but you know what , I remarried and after Teatle and I's green eyes turned blue and we realized hey this can't go on, we have children and have to be in contact the rest of our lifes with one another for the kids, we started inviting him to Every family function ~too many to mention~ and he was at every single one of them, for the last 25 years we became best friends again, and there you go it has been a wonderful friendship up to his last living days, I want everyone to know life is too short and hurtful harsh words do hurt but through the love of the Lord we can all be wise and put so much behind us. it happened with Teatle and me and if this be a sitsutation for you or someone you know it can through the love of God happen for you too...........just remember we loved each other in our own way to the very end......We will miss you so much Teatle...
