Obituary of Christopher Herres

HERRES, Christopher Dean age 39 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, July 25, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 31, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio, Chris was the son of Michael and Kathleen (LeFever) Herres and was an electrician by trade. Chris was a 1991 graduate of Lebanon High School, a member of the Silver Grove Baptist Church and a loving and devoted husband, father and brother. Chris enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, music and motorcycles and most of all, spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Chris leaves behind his loving wife and soul mate Julie (Parks) Herres of Oregonia, Ohio; sons Tristen Dean Herres of Oregonia, Ohio and Jeffery Caron who is currently serving his country in the U.S. Navy, daughter Tesla Caron of Oregonia, Ohio; sister Venetta Herres of Lebanon, Ohio and and nephew Zander Dean Herres. Friends may call on the family Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating. The family appreciates donations directed to the Christopher D.
