Obituary of Richard Gomez

GOMEZ, Richard J. age 62 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties with his family by his side. Born May 10, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas, Richard was the son of Quirino and Adelina (Ramos) Gomez and was retired from the Monsanto Corporation where he worked in shipping and receiving for 15 years. Richard was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam, a member of the Lebanon American Legion and loved softball, bowling and fishing. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years Mary Ellen (Buchanan) Gomez of Morrow, Ohio; daughters Shanell (Jeremy) Fultz of Centerville, Ohio and Renae Jagel of Dayton, Ohio; his twin brother Ruben Q. (Elizabeth) Gomez of Texas, one granddaughter Alana Jagel and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Monday, July 25, 2011 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with burial to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
