Obituary of Harry Roberts

ROBERTS, Harry D. "Donnie" age 75 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Dayton V.A. Medical Center surrounded by his entire family. Born April 13, 1936 in Harveysburg, Ohio, Donnie was a lifelong resident of Warren County and the owner and operator of H.D. Roberts Construction. Donnie was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Urbancrest Baptist Church. Donnie had worked for the Morrow Block Company prior to starting his own construction company. Donnie enjoyed singing karaoke, his cats and most of all spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Jacqueline Roberts in 2009 and sisters Opal Hauser and Doris Howard, Donnie leaves behind his sons John (Sue) Roberts, Tim (Deana) and Tom Cowgill; daughters Wendy (Chris Carter) Little and Ethel Kilpatrick; brothers Raymond (Hazel) Roberts and Kenny (Nora) Roberts; sisters Margaret (Dan) Pennington and Ginny Campbell; grandchildren Tori and Lindsay Roberts, James, Travor and Ryan W. Smith, Michelle Little, Ashley, Timothy, Amanda, Corbin, Andrew and Megan Russell; great-grandchildren Bailey, Kayla, Jacob, Kyrsten, Aidan, Austin, Sydnee, Kahlan, Kadin, Kayley, Fernando, Fidel, Kayley, Eloy, Cruise and Stella and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Bill Perry officiating.
