Obituary of Lucy Young

YOUNG, Lucy (nee Gibbs) age 87 of Waynesville, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday morning, July 6, 2011. Born December 9, 1923 in Hazel Green, Kentucky, Lucy was the daughter of Nathan and Myrtie (Gillispe) Gibbs and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville Young, brothers Carl and Wille and sisters Orra, Edna and Martha, Lucy leaves behind her son Glenn (Louraine) Young of Waynesville, Ohio; grandchildren Cindy (Matt) Collins,Bryan (Lynn) Young and Debra (Douglas) Woodard; great-grandchildren Alisha (Maynard) Anderson, Anthony and Joshua Woodard, Liam Young and Gehrig Lambert and many other family members and friends. Graveside funeral services and interment will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 12:00pm in the Valley View Memory Gardens in Xenia, Ohio.
