Obituary of Pearl Carpenter

CARPENTER, Pearl Mae (nee Owens) age 85 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday evening, June 27, 2011 at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio with her family by her side. Born February 6, 1926 in Knox County, Kentucky, Pearl was the daughter of Milton and Lilly Owens and a retired school bus driver from the Lebanon City Schools with more than 20 years of service. Pearl was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald C. Carpenter and brothers Jess and Dub Owens; Pearl leaves behind her loving children Gary (Cathy) Carpenter of Lebanon, Ohio; Milton Donald (Jo Carol) Carpenter of Carlisle and Anita (Roy) Roten of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Reed Owens of Hamilton, Ohio; sisters Pauline Carpenter of Middletown, Ohio and Geraldine Peacock of Georgia; grandchildren Keith, Robin, Tina, Mike and Cara; great-grandchildren Damien, Kimberly, Jenna, Bradley, Lexi, Kadie, Jay, Jacobs and Skylar and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Clark Helvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
