Obituary of Everett Viars

VIARS, Everett M. age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his residence with his family by his side. Born August 22, 1929 in Waynesville, Ohio, Everett was a lifelong resident of Warren County and a member of the Countryside Community Church. Everett was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who was an avid Ohio State , Bengals and Reds fan and also enjoyed playing golf. Preceded in death by his parents, Everett leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Thelma (Hess) Viars of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Wayne (Donna) Viars of Oklahoma and Mark (Lori) Viars of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Beverly (Doug) Carey of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Roy (Pat) Viars of Lebanon, Ohio and David (Marlene) Viars of Clarksville, Ohio; sister Janice (Don) Whisler of Brown County, Ohio; grandchildren Brent Carey, Tara Purdy, Jesse, Libby, Derrik, Jared and Carly Viars and Amy Hamilton; great-grandchildren Austin and Ashlyn Carey and Nathan and Kyle Purdy and his very best personal friend Jack Hedges of Lebanon, Ohio. Friends may call on the family Monday evening, June 27, 2011 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Pastor Les Jones and Pastor David Schooler officiating. Burial will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:00am in the Lebanon Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial donations be directed to the Countryside Community Church, 1436 Deerfield Road, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
