Obituary of Jack Buchanan

BUCHANAN, Jack Lee age 64 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday morning, June 16, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati. Born June 5, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jack was the son of Preston and Belle (Gabbard) Buchanan and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, son Roger Creech and sister Lu Johnson; Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years Mary (Hogan) Buchanan of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Lisa Buchanan of Lebanon, Ohio, Connie (Beau) Teeters of Blanchester, Ohio and Sandra (Allen) Hogan of Beattyville, Kentucky; sister Loretta Gray of Morrow, Ohio and Karen Lawson of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Christopher, Angel, Tasha, Ashley, Brandon, Carson, Victoriana and Noah; one great grandchild Anna Grace and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 12:30pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Brother Jeff Kilburn officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
