Obituary of Arley McComas

McCOMAS, Arley Fern (nee Terry) age 91 of Kings Mills, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born December 10, 1919 in Cow Creek, Owsley County, Kentucky, Arley was the daughter of Wilson And Ruse (Wilder) Terry and was a retired school cafeteria cook with the Kings Local School District. Arley was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed quilting, gardening, word search books and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Michael McComas in 1966, brothers Oakley and Howard Terry and sisters Grace Jones, Bernice Hiser, Viola Hiser, Doris Dawson and Audrey Allen; Arley leaves behind her sons Larry M. McComas, Jr of Kings Mills, Ohio and Paul McComas of Florida; daughters Diana Eshleman (Terry) of Lebanon, Ohio and Sandra Johnston (Paul) of Milford, Ohio; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00am with burial to follow in the Rose hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio.
