Obituary of Geneva Walters

WALTERS, Geneva (nee Watson) age 86 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Ritten House Nursing Care in Middletown, Ohio with her family by her side. Born December 29, 1925 in Heidelberg, Kentucky, Geneva was the daughter of Omer and Edna (Newton) Watson and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Geneva was a licensed Real Estate Agent and enjoyed reading, writing poems, talking politics and playing cards. Preceded in death by her parents, dear husband Roy Walters in 2003, son Roy Quinn Walters in 1996, brothers Norman, Arvil, Ray, Donald and Roger and sisters Bulah, Jesteen, Alma Gay and Mildred; Geneva leaves behind her loving and caring daughter Donna Walters of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter-in-law Nita Walters of Kentucky and granddaughter Jennifer Walters. Friends may call on the family Saturday morning, February 18, 2012 from 9:30am until 10:30am at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30am with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio. The family appreciates memorial donations directed to Odyssey Hospice of Dayton, Ohio or the Vineyard Community Church of Franklin, Ohio.
