Obituary of William Sizemore
SIZEMORE, William Jr. age 82 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Leslie County, Kentucky passed peacefully Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 17, 1928 on Bull Creek in Dry Hill, Kentucky (Leslie County), William was the son of William, Sr. and Georgia Ann (Begley) Sizemore and a retired welder with the General Electric Company in Cincinnati with nearly 30 years of service. William was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, a proud Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Fellowship of Praise Church in Clarksville, the Cornerstone Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio and the Princeton Pike Church of God. William was the owner of the Pit Stop Carry-Out since 1988, a fan of Kentucky Basketball, enjoyed fishing and was a true family man. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Owen, Skylar, Elijah, Oakley, Logan and Charley, sisters Eva, Oza and Mae; William leaves behind his loving a devoted wife of 62 years Joyce (Couch) Sizemore of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Gary (Sherry) Sizemore of Lebanon, Ohio and Dwight (Terri) Sizemore of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Loretta (Dallas) Barnett of Oregonia, Ohio and Gwinette (Rick) Johnson of Oregonia, Ohio;brother Ray, sisters Elizabeth and Edna; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on the family Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2011 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Fellowship of Praise Church located at 8625 State Route 22 & 3, Clarksville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 6:00pm with Reverend Matt Morgan and Reverend Orville Robinson officiating. A second funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch (Leslie County) Kentucky with interment in the Farmer Couch's Fork Cemetery.
